A legend was born in 1953. The first Corvettes were produced in '53, each of which were built by hand with a white body and a red interior. Only 300 vehicles were produced. In the 1960s, the Corvette Stingray was developed by Bill Mitchell, Zora-Arkus Duntov and Larry Shinoda, and a legend became a classic. Its unique styling made drivers long for the open road, and the advanced engineering proved up to the task.
